The Foton View CS2 van has been spotted testing in India. It’s a full-size MPV with seating for 13 people and here, in these photos, it has been spotted in the Royal Saloon Variant.
The car that’s been spotted is most likely a diesel powered model and, in this case, there is a 2.8-litre four-cylinder engine producing a 161bhp/350Nm with power going to the wheels via a five-speed manual. The van gets an acceptable level of kit including ABS with EBD, dual front airbags, reverse parking sensors and a music system with a CD player. However, we expect that the cabin will customisable to each individual buyer.
This vehicle is expected to be aimed at the luxury fleet market like hotels, concierge services, airports, large corporations and government offices. It currently comprises of only a few players and the arrival of Foton should add to the competition.
